I bought this 1960’s vintage wedding dress from a woman who was selling her Mother’s wedding dress. A beautiful, sofisticated dress with a detachable train. The dress is made of a heavy satin which is a lined with a stiffening agent. The bodice is lace with a lined detachable train, the train is drapped on the neck of my dress model, so you can see that when it is around the waist it will be quite a long train. The dress is very small (as are most vintage wedding dresses) and wouldn’t fit on my dress model.
This 1990’s vintage wedding dress is what I call the ultimate Princess dress, have a look and you be the judge. This dress has never been worn and still has the tags attached. The dress has the most beautiful lace beading on the bodice and lace beading along the hem. This dress has its own built in petticoats, which make the dress flare out from the hips. If only I could fit into it, I’d renew my wedding vows in a minute.
